FAQs
Bathroom costs vary depending on the size of the room, specification and level of structural work involved. During the design stage we'll help prioritise where your budget delivers the biggest impact while ensuring every element works together beautifully.
In many cases, yes. Simply repositioning sanitaryware, improving storage or changing the shower or bath arrangement can make a bathroom feel significantly larger and function much better without increasing its size.
Most internal bathroom renovations don't require planning permission. However, listed buildings, major structural alterations or changes affecting drainage may require approval. We'll advise you if additional permissions are needed.
The best layouts maximise floor space while keeping movement easy and uncluttered. Careful positioning of showers, basins, storage and mirrors can make even compact bathrooms feel spacious, practical and luxurious.
It depends on your lifestyle. Walk-in showers offer excellent accessibility and maximise usable space, while baths remain popular for families and can add value in many homes. We'll help you choose the solution that best suits both your needs and your property.
Most bathrooms benefit from more storage than homeowners initially expect. Well-designed vanity units, recessed shelving and concealed storage help keep surfaces clutter-free while making everyday items easy to access.
Large-format porcelain tiles, quartz surfaces, quality brassware and moisture-resistant cabinetry offer excellent durability with minimal maintenance. We'll recommend finishes that balance appearance, longevity and ease of cleaning.
A straightforward bathroom refurbishment typically takes around two to four weeks, although larger or more complex projects may take longer depending on structural work, bespoke products and lead times.
